Thank you The Patches. I'm sure eventually I would have figured it out, but then I would have to reinstall photoshop, and install one of those onscreen picture programs that takes pictures of your desktop.

Or you could've just hit the "PrtScr" key on your keyboard then opened a new file in MS Paint and pasted the screenshot then used the eye dropper to get a sample of the background color and checked its RGB values by accessing Colors - Edit Colors - Define Custom Colors. I'm just sayin.

Merry Christmas Kids! All about the kids this holiday. It's just too bad sometimes I draw like one. Edit. This picture was done with mouse. Very hard to draw when using a gaming mouse.

So I am trying to do some realistic art.. Give me some time, still trying to figure out Oekaki. Using a reference, but so far I am way off.

Well, I guess because they judge you on your own creativity and originality....and maybe they think using a "ref" pic wouldn't be showing your own creativity....I dunno.....I think if you use a ref pic to get a basic idea of what to draw......but use your own creativity with it.....does that make sense???

Thanks! :D I was trying to draw exactly what I envisioned everytime I think of Fall. And that is a leaf less tree, on a cool evening. I wanted to draw realistically, but that was not working so I kept it simple.
