ah yes, portraits are very tricky. And drawing on the computer takes practice. I don't think this is horrible as you say, but there are some things you can fix. One of those can be the nose; it looks little too high here. Or perhaps its the lips that needs to be moved up. And everything else looks fine to me. :]
