The texture in the background is done by just filling it a solid colour, than going over it with one lighter and one darker colour with the diffusion and the opacity set really low :)

Aww, this drawing is adorable.@xiang: it doesn't really look like the Bratz, since the Bratz are hideously disproportionate and just plain hideous in general, which this drawing is not.

It kind of has to do with me and my boyfriend....oh yes and his sister. The characters here look nothing like who they are supposed to be portraying...Oh yes! The hippie shirt I don't have, but I have been dubbed as a hippie around my friend because of my weird clothes and taste...
