"..אני מבטיח לך, ילדה שלי קטנה, שזאת תהיה המלחמה האחרונה"-When I was a kid, I also got that promise, that when I'll be an adult there wouldn't be any wars, and that there would be no need for an army when I grow up. I used to believe it, and I promise now not to promise such a thing to my kids. I've read today letters that broke my heart.. those letters were written by family members of israeli fallen soldiers and victims of terrorism, as it's Israel's Remembrance Day.

lori, your painting made me feel moody, but in this piece, I 'threw' my feelings here and actually felt a little better afterwards. So it's a different process :)

I find something very disturbing about this work and the title combination and I can't quite put my finger on what it is. It is awesome though and I find it very thought provoking.

I think that it could be better if I used a bigger canvas, but there's a certain commitment that a bigger canvas requires.. and all I wanted a nightly doodle, while bb Israel and house were in the bg..
