This makes me think of the windows in the Westminster Abbey Cathedral in Mission, BC. I tried to find a link but wasn't able to locate a good photo of them. Very pretty.

Contest Week 97: Self Portrait I am not looking for a picture of you, so thats misleading. I mean, if your a dull fellow give me that, but we are artists, we are supposed to be mildly intresting, so what we will be looking for is a drawing that is a portrait of yourself...your essence. If that makes sense... So, include your passions, or your environment where you live, your favorite food, if your scary do scary, if your blue paint blue. I dont care, just make it YOU. go get em you eg...

The hands dont seem like there in the right position to me.

I know what you mean but that was just how the ref photo was so I tried pretending I was holding a baby with my hands in that position and the only way it could be done would be with the father holding the baby with his hands stretched to the side with the photographer standing behind and slightly to the side of them, I think it would be nore effective taking it from the front and the editing the photo, I just liked the photo anyway |

I think the name of the fish is an "angler" fish......I did a draw of an angler fish awhile back.....it's in my gallery. I like the way those fish have their own "built in" light...."lol"! This is a really cool pic pawillie....:) |
