I like the way this turned out... the army/olive green and the sort of glowing fluorescent color you used for the flesh tones are cool looking together.
Deino (Jul 5, 2006)
Thanks Deadly. Olive green is my favorita color :D
Sweetcell (edited Jul 5, 2006)
Ahhh, you gave yourself some flowers. Flowers is nice.

Is that Westminster Abbey in the background or am I seeing things?
Deino (Jul 6, 2006)
I would say they look more like the petronas towers Sweetcell... but actually, the whole background is part of one of my dreams, the most beautiful I have had!

I may or may not change this. I'll also try to get a picture of myself. This doesn't especially look like me, but I worked really hard on it. I hate drawing noses and lips. Dx I was looking into a mirror for reference incase you hadn't picked up on that.

I have no more space! Dx

Contest Week 20: New X-Men
Kloxboy (edited Jul 2, 2006)
Contest Week 20: New X-Men Your goal this week is to draw an original Marvel X-Men character. You can draw whatever type of character you want, I only ask that you put the X-Men "X" symbol on them to indicate they're an X-Men member. You can put the X anywhere on the character, it can be on their clothing (if they have any), on their skin, their eye, their foot, anywhere, as long as it is visible somewhere on your character. You may also draw your character in any style you want, be it...

Too bad Buddy's not for sale, I'd be more likely to buy him than the truck. This is great. :)
Axil62 (Jun 29, 2006)
Yeah, after a hard day of plenty of fartin and workin on the house, I figure I'd wipe my ass just to be safe.... ya know, a complimentary safety wipe as it were.
Renderboy (Jun 30, 2006)
very nice, i like the looking of the dog and the brown square on top of him.
Deino (Jun 30, 2006)

This was going to be a 15 minute portrait but Bob was hard to draw, so I kept drawing him until it looked enough like Bob that one could look at this drawing and say "hey, that looks like Bob"

Old bob? Is it twin peaks we're talking about here?
dorothyblueeyes (Mar 24, 2012)
is this Mao Tse Tung? In his decrepit old age? Anyhow, you made him more beautiful than he should be. Hee hee. What are you, one of the gang of four? Or five or six? Or are you just home on the plane of mainland China? Did you ever used to read "Young lust" I think that was the name of the comic? They had a great "step forward" along with young lust on the mainland, politically correct no less. Great picture fantastic, I'm not worthy, but I don't really care. Ha ha fantastic keep it up.
davincipoppalag (Oct 5, 2019)
Bob still looks like Bob!

V
enamoredumbass (May 19, 2006)
"Voilą! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished, as the once vital voice of the verisimilitude now venerates what they once vilified. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose vis-ą-vis an introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."

my more than lacking rendition of this amazing character
comments are more than welcome

Gotta love those lyrics. These are some of my favorite from that song:

And as the walls come down
And as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade
Recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.

I don't mind.

I am too connected to you
Slip away, fade away.
Days away I still feel you
Touching me, changing me,

Considerately killing me.
