This was supposed to be simple....15 min work but then I just had to add details and take my sweet old time on this which doesn't even look good. Everytime I try to do something simple, I end up taking time on it....and Paint BBS screwed up on the layers and that pretty much messed me up =_= and my right hand hurts from gripping my mouse for so long T-T.....

Nekodesu, thank you for your nice comments! I like this draw of yours! The background is cool, and the face is nice, especially like the hair, too! It looks like the front of a 3-D card that says "I miss you" inside it.

try to bring the hair down further on the head, so you dont see as much of of the forehead. And you also dont need to blur it so much. Try working on the shape and length of the hair first, before you try making it look real.

If you're using the applets for the first time I think the only tools you should consider using are the pen, soften, and eraser.

The picture is great and the background works well except for the grass. Because it's so dark, it looks like she has a green mohawk in addition to the blue hair. If it were fainter it would be seen more as part of the background.
