Experimenting with different ways of coloring... This one uses grayscale for tonal values on a layer in "Multiply" mode. Then the flat color is underlaid.

It was mentioned my last post looked a little like a TMN Turtle... Which gave me the urge to draw an actual turtle! ;-)

BTW: This image ran over on 'Total Size' for the beginner board... What affects the 'Total size'? Is it the number of layers?

this came out pretty cool, nice use of that darken and lighten tool i cant remember the name of..err i think every brush stroke you do adds to the size, maybe certain tools add more kb by their nature, like blur or w/e but hey nice job. Turtle fest !
