Robot Rabbit/Rabbit with Armor
TriggerHappy
(Aug 4, 2004)
Well, it was supposed to be part of the robot theme, but it turned out to look more like armor then anything lol Ah well. Just something weird while I wait for the vets to be done with my dog. And kids, this is what happens when you mix drugs. Never do it
Aubrey (Aug 4, 2004)
lol cute lil bunny. This robot week is turnin out interesting.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Hehe, if he comes with a remote controller, I'm gettin' one!
Ty854 (Aug 7, 2004)
Thats looks like my little bunny Fufu, that is AFTER he went through the cement mixer out back.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
I recognize this character! You did a great job and it's very very cool! |

ty to all of those who commented. but not that anyone will really care, I am not doing another 2draw again. This place is way too cliquish for me. No one comments unless you're part of this "inner circle" or some bull shit, and frankly I'm through putting up drawings and not getting a lot of feed back. That is why I joined, I thought I'd get feedback, but I guess I was wrong. That and some of the things you guys say to each other or say to get attention is pathetic. So, goodbye and thank you again to all of those who commented on my pictures.
davincipoppalag (Aug 26, 2004)
Well, I care if you leave. I like your work, and I think I commented on all of em.. I wish you would reconsider.
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Aug 30, 2004)
Trigger, I'm sorry I think I've seen one other picture done by you. I believe I commented then, and I don't belong to a clique. I am sorry you feel that you're not getting back what you feel you need to affirm your talent! You are amazing and I wish I had 1/10th the talent you have. I agree, it is important to get feedback. I think I would be dismayed if I wasn't getting what I felt was satisfaction. Please reconsider and don't give up! I can't think of any other place I'd rather be! Your work is loved and I'll be your friend and we can form a clique if you'd like! ' } Most importantly, I think this viper is wonderful and it creeps me out, which all snakes do! = )
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
Oy, now I'm gonna have to track you down, fooo.

hum....horses? ref. pic from a photo I have
Gigge (Jul 8, 2004)
Good energy in this one. Pretty horses.
davincipoppalag (Jul 9, 2004)
Horses ARE hard, I think you did pretty well with this
angelbate (Jul 10, 2004)
very nice, great coloring too. there's an interesting mix of solid and airbrush techniques used to good effect. The snout and the skin are paricularly well done. finish soon!
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
You really have talent when drawing animals! I wish I did. Can you share some secrets? |

Well, didn't mean for it to go on here, wanted it on the beginners, but oh well. Here it is. Just doing something to make myself tired enough to go to bed so I can get up early and go fishing.
Childlike_Vampire (Jul 22, 2004)
Wow that eyebrow piercing must go really deep lol...nice greytones, I like the shine on the eye. ^^
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
Wonderful! You certainly show diversity. |

Former Stabbing Westward lead singer Chris Hall, now lead singer of The Dreaming. You want to hear some heartfelt lyrics, you should listen to them
davincipoppalag (Jul 16, 2004)
I think it needs some more refining. I like the smoke cloud in the bg and the lighting. The eyes and hair need more definition , and the jacket could use more blending and highlights. It's not bad..
emmamommalag (Jul 17, 2004)
Yes, it definitely has potential. I like the satiny sheen to the jacket and I agree with poppa about what it needs..Saw this lying around and decided to finish it :) btw, the eyes are supposed to be dark and undefined...
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Sep 11, 2004)
He looks like he is very dark. I think his music must also convey his darkness? Good job. |

It's an Alaskan loonholy cow! I just realized I got off my gray binge and finished something with color! sorry guys about all the black and white pics I've posted. Now if I can just get off the Alaskan pictures....
emmamommalag (Jul 31, 2004)
I do! I do! It's a wonderful picture. I see a baby loon hitching a ride. Good job on the reflection in the water.
davincipoppalag (Aug 1, 2004)
Don't stop! There's so much to see in Alaska, and so many pictures left to draw! This is good!
Gigge (Aug 2, 2004)
Very pretty. The reflection in the water is very nice.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
How'd you get the duck and her baby to sit still for this one? Very nice. |

Alright, you guys inspired me :) just took the purple, did random lines, and this is what I saw. Also helped me learn about blending. Obviously, I still have a ways to go.
davincipoppalag (Aug 2, 2004)
Pretty nice job on the folds.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
I love it! I am still working on blending and the imspiration from the outside, would be nice too! ' } |

pic of an old man :) inspiration from roy mullins, and from an old man on a boatI'm toying with the idea of a long white beard...good or bad?
Gigge (Aug 2, 2004)
I like the lighting. Looks as if he's sitting infront of a dying fire.
davincipoppalag (Aug 3, 2004)
I don't think I would add the beard. It would take away from the glow you made. Hey,, if you can draw THIS you can do "Elvis on Velvet"!
TriggerHappy (Aug 3, 2004)
Elvis on Velvet? what the heck is that? hehe
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Aug 30, 2004)
WOW you really have the smoke down. I also love the facial glow. Very nice. Velvet paintings were very popular in the 50's and 60's and the most common are, Elvis and The Last Supper. This does resemble a velvet painting. |

Inspired from a t-shirt I saw on a girl today. Figured I'd try it out. Pic reference was used :) I'm officially seeing dots now!
TriggerHappy (Jul 28, 2004)
that was part of the reason I chose this photo though, was because it didn't really look like a typical orlando bloom picture. Looked more just like some guy, and that's what drew me to it.
two-na (Jul 28, 2004)
extreme youdraw flashback! :D
davincipoppalag (Jul 29, 2004)
Yea two, this would be right at home on YouDraw
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
I don't know anything about YouDraw, but I do know excellence. I admire you. This had to take forever to do. I bet your hand hurted! lol |

emmamommalag (Aug 3, 2004)
Aww it looks so sad or apprehensive. Great pic, TriggerHappy. You moving?
LEELEE (Aug 3, 2004)
This is wonderful, fantastic job.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Aww, he looks so timid. Maybe he's scared of the dark? Very nice job.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
What a wonderful face! I love his expression. Perhaps he's been wounded? |
