When I was a kid and a teen, too,I bought these art books called "Walter Foster Art books",which were inexpensive,and were very good at teaching someone to draw.They had all kinds of subjects, horses, people, anatomy, objects, still lives, scenery,even perspective. They even had one on pin up girls,and how to draw them. If they still make those,they were wonderfully helpful to me.I just studied them by myself,and they give full step by step instructions. Very good books. If you want to try and find them, usually in art supply stores,you might like them.

Sakura Haruno from the anime Naruto. I already drew Sakura, but to my extreme misfortune I accidently deleted that drawing. So after much sulking and pouting, I got over it and drew a completely new Sakura with a new pose and facial expression. And the background...blame that on my lazyness.
