personally I think drawings with/of blood are way overdone, especially among younger artists. This would probably work better if it were smaller, since you haven't included many details you would be able to see if you were this close to a person or if a picture of someone was this large.

intersting thought but a little more work should go into this. Neverfear! You still have a lot of space left over and you can still go in and revise. Things to focus on would be the blood and the hair. Both have come across very flat. Don't be afraid to use the blur tool to help you shade. Keep going I know you can do it :)
