Here is an interesting question that hasn't been discussed yet (I think). I don't personally think that 2draw has really taken in a large percentage of "professional" artists out there (and that's not a problem). But do you think that even so, 2draw can begin to achieve works of this quality as an example? Or this? Or this?...

HA! That is genius!This would make a great anniversary card or perhaps a Valentine's Day card. It's frightening to think that those old TV couples and families were considered "exemplary". It's hard to imagine it but I'm sure 50 or 60 years from now, people will look at a show like Full House and bash it for being crude and barbaric, haha. another one for my glow project.The reference I used is a picture I took with my new camera. :) Cost me £300, but I'm very pleased with it. and i'm especially pleased with the macro options.

I drew some bettas ages ago. People thought they were penises aswell. Grrr... lol.Looking good. :) Could have done with a few more highlights though.

No need to convince me you like the picture, I can take criticism. The purple feels out of place to me for practical reasons. If you turn off the lights in your room at night and just leave the computer screen on, the projected light from the screen is generally more blueish or greenish in hue.I think the slight pinkness of the face contrasts pretty strongly with the surrounding technology since it's the only reddish hue in the picture, and one idea with his/her suit being blueish-greenish is that he/she is being assimilated into the surrounding technology. Depth between foreground and background in this case is primarily brought about by atmospheric effect, i.e. clarity of the foreground versus the blurriness of the background.

I like the blue-green colours because they make the background cold and impassive, just like a room full of computers and spaceship controls. Probably in an emergency the room could be illuminated with a deep red colour. The purple version would probably be better if the alien was a bit more threatening and angry looking, like a Predator for example. >;)|XOD|
