"Happy Birthday" Zack!!

A birthday card for my dog Zack. He's 7 yrs old today, and he still acts like a puppy.....he's a sweetie and I luv him so much! This is my first attempt at doing a dog face.....it's not finished yet, and it's FAR from perfect.....but I have to start somewhere.....and hopefully I'll get better at this. I need to work on his fur more, and around his mouth area.....but it's just supposed to be a simple birthday card for my dog, so I'm not gonna be too fussy about getting it to look perfect...."LOL"!! "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" ZACK! :)

Hi "Enjoy".....I can see why you all miss that Zack in the link you posted......I'm not familiar with his work.....but after seeing his gallery.....I can see why you all miss him.....his artwork is awesome. Where did he disappear to??? Also.....thank you "dorothyblueyes" for your nice comment.....I'm glad you like the pic. I think it would be great if you decided to get a german shepherd. They are wonderful dogs....great pets, great companions, great guard dogs, very loving and loyal. You can't go wrong in choosing a german shepherd....:)

Just trying to practice doing a silhouette type of draw. I'm not good at drawing silhouettes.....this is supposed to be a silhouette of a ghostly pirate ship. I'm not finished working on this. I'd appreciate any advice anyone might give me..."lol"! I'm posting this as finished.....so I have room in my unfinished draws gallery.....I can always go back later and work on this more.....

wow. I'm impressed! This is beautiful...and so well done. You need to meet my friend, Roz. She'd buy all your artwork. Everything in her house looks like you could have drawn it.

I'm glad you like this pic.....I kinda like old pirate ships, and Captain Jack Sparrow is my fave pirate.....so I just felt the need to draw this pic...."lol"!! I would like to meet your friend "Roz".....she sounds like a nice person......she is welcome to buy all my "pics" if she wants......but I don't know why she would want to...."lol"!!! :) |

I can't fathom why this isn't in the showcase. I love looking at all the colours in the grill and the rust. The theme from Bonnie and Clyde plays in my head every time I see this picture.

I think alot more pictures should get into the showcase. And more people should have the authority to put them in, that way it covers a wider spectrum of different opinions.

This is fantastic! I don't know how you can draw these pics without using a ref pic.....you have a great imagination. These draws are sooo interesting to look at.....I hope you do more.....:)

When I was a kid.....I used to love to climb trees.....but I think I would be afraid to try climbing this tree.....I'd be afraid some of those gnarly looking roots would come after me....."lol"!! I really like this pic.....I keep comin' back to take another look at it...:)

This is an awesome draw!! I think he looks so much like the kid who played "Alfalfa" in "The Little Rascals" movies. All that is missing is the cute "cowlick" sticking up on his head. Great draw!! :)
