Scarlett's Invention backfires, literally.

Well, I was bored. And made a little piccle of Scarlett, my crazy inventress lady character.
She made a portable light thingy. But, in order to make it, she had to explode it, along with her laboratory (One of many), and get soot covered.
Luckily, she's impervious to explosions. Somehow.

Lmfao! I love the expression on her face and the soot all over the place! (That rhymes >_<;) The hand looks a bit messed up but the glowing atom/ light source is really cool looking! >_<;

Omigosh.. Can the background be any cooler? VERY original!!! I remember I always use to make pictures with people holding little glowy things! *_* I think I grew outta that phase! ^^ I agree about the thing with the hand, it's too skinny. She needs a little bit of a forehead don't you think? I realize there are some bangs but on either side her eyebrows look to be touching her scalp line. I like the glossy effect on the shirt and the soot thing! ^__^

Nah. Scarlett was always the type to wear her hair over her forehead. And also the type to get things exploding.
But... I ALWAYS mess up on hands. ALWAYS. It's like... I am.... Not good at drawing hands.... -_-

Lol.. I love the Chinese Series! And the Manga that the Japanese made! The whole thing is very cool! Especially Dicky Wai Cheung! Hes the BEST! >_<; He so frickin' funny!

Ahm.. After a few days of not drawing on here because of certain reasons ( -coughs- Parents.. -cough cough- ) I've decided to change my drawing style again. This time I'm working on my weakest point. A Tablet. Hope you like so far!

I am losing my will to draw from seeing so many great pics from others. Oh well, I could always turn to writing.
-_- Great job. I myself, WOULD be practicing right now, but I need to gather myself again. Some people don't seem to need any more practice. I just am not one of them.

I think this drawing is pile of poop.... but i sent it in to ask which one do you like better? the one using black for drawing or th one using that other colour? (i prefer black) what do u think?

You know what? I think they're both good. The way you used 'grey' for the outlining of the guy on top makes it look like he's in the background. Good job. :)

Okies...
THis isn't as bad as you give credit for yourself for.
In fact, the expressions are unique.
As for which color... Grey is good for backgrounds, and foregrounds for Black, as ChinkyFlip said. But I use a dark tan to outline the skin, and grey or black for the clothing or items. I use Blur effect for background images.
But, either way is good, and I think it's up to you to choose your preference...

I like the one in the left hand corner better... *nod* The bottem one's a tad messy... Just a tad! I love the hair and the eyes on the other one! I think you should try that style only go over the lines a few more times to make them darker! *nod* =]

Well.. He's gay--but isn't he adorable!? He's yawning in the morning (And he's got some sexy boxers on) LOL! Took me a little while to complete (had to practice on all the fekking shadings). ENJOY!

This is what I would ilike to call.. a psycho. You see how he's tied up in a straight jacket? Yes--I got bored--and yes, I often reduce myself to drawing sloppily--but it's a great style once you get the hang of it. :P
