Was reading the first few chapters of xxxHOLiC at the same time... Probably a lil influenced by that. :3
Started off with random dabs of green which led to volumous skirts, which led to this. haha

Playing with Light, Colour

I haven't touched this stuff for ages.... ^^;
My style's changed, you might notice, for the better, I hope. This is just me playing with colours and light, my favourite elements in a painting... Initial lineart in blue.
On a side note, there's Timcampy! Like, my favourite manga mascot EVER. And the girl here has the same hairstyle as me, but that's all the similarity there is..

I was worried about how the colours would turn out. ^^ I uploaded this to my phone just to see how it looked outside the blue-tinted screen, and... it's a lot brighter than I expected. So I'm glad you like the colours!

I'm at a loss of what to do from here. I think something's gone awry, possibly with her face... Any advice? ^^; Is it tidy enough to be considered finished, do you think?

Well.. I actually had something else in mind but i accidentally 'vanished' it.. :(
So I ended up doodling this instead. Looks like a vampire enough? And I know it kind of looks like Kanda... :x
Was chatting at the same time so yeah, time a little extended..

Love it! Reminds me of Castlevania: SoTN almost! The lighting on his hair and clouds does it for me personally.

Trying out the 'Donna's Difference' tutorial... Was fun to do til the 'scene' bit... o_o I'm not sure what's going on in there myself.

Was feeling random and hopped over here.
First time painting flames, doesn't look too disastrous to me..
There was supposed to be some other details, but unfortunately i made those after i pressed the 'sent oekaki' option. *mumbles*
How very silly of me.. sigh

X Japan, Art of Life? Never heard of it.. Am checking it right now! ...Huh? Does my pic look that scary to you? XD
I'm torn between making it a sort of portray of a lady in her burqa, sunny sunny hot feel...
or a sort of sea theme, with waves, ships.. pirate-ness? I don't know.. let's see where it goes. Too bad I can't make two versions. Or at least I don't know how to import the layers to another file..

Hehe, I joined the day you gave me that link in my MT guestbook.. But I wasn't any good at all, so I left it for a bit. Then one day I just felt like trying again, and *nods at pic* tada! And I dragged Pande in too. ^^
